INTRODUCTION
It is high time to open my website
in English. I do it for those of my colleagues who do not want to enter
the XX1st century deceived by ufological liars and official debunkers.
What you will find below is not pleasant to read. I can assure you that
it was not pleasant to write either.
It goes without saying that I cannot present to you the
whole history of the Russian ufology on this website. Maybe one day...
For the moment you have here only my black pages and they are really black. |

NINETEEN
NINETY-EIGHT. BEFORE AND AFTER
HONESTY and UFOLOGY
The
real situation in the Russian ufology was never clear to the occidental
ufologists. Before 1998, I saw two main reasons explaining this state of
affairs.
Firstly,
a language barrier.
Secondly,
unreliable Russian sources that some ufologists in the West cannot verify
being in a hurry to publish their books or articles about Russia,
and unscrupulous journalists like Henry Gris.
In 1998,
after The KGB UFO Files (with P.Stonehill, a Soviet-born "ufologist", as
main expert) and The Soviet UFO Files
(by the same P.Stonehill), it became clear to me that it is not enough
to speak Russian well. It is necessary to be honest.
There
are only two books in English with chapters where the Russian ufology is
presented correctly enough. The first one is the English
translation of the book written by my friend Ion Hobana
and Julien Weverbergh. Ion Hobana is honest, he respects the Ufological
community and readers in general and knows Russian well enough to avoid
traps and fantastic stories proliferated by many journalists and
so called ufologists. (Ion
Hobana, Julien Weverbergh. UFO's From Behind
the Iron Curtain , Souvenir Press, London,
1974, 309 p.)
The
other one is the book by Timothy Good Above
Top Secret (chapter
10 "USSR"). Unfortunately, the author gives too much credit to everything
coming from Russia, and I cannot close my eyes on that. Some mistakes,
borrowed from FSR,
are
annoying. Unavoidably, many tales were repeated in Occidental UFO
books, but after all I can say that Good's chapter is "digestible". (Timothy
Good,
Above Top Secret,
Grafton Books, London, 1987, 215-244.)
The
first great "fantastic" book about the Russian ufology was written by Jacques
Vallee, who filled his book with all kinds of inventions and rumors. (Jacques
Vallee, in collaboration with Martine Castello. UFO
Chronicles of the Soviet Union: a cosmic Samizdat,
Ballantine Books, New York, 1992, 212 p.)
In
fact, inventions and rumors give the possibility of making a book, just
making it easily, without thinking about this long-suffering Ufology.
It goes
without saying that this regrettable situation gives to our debunkers the
possibility to feel fine. |

INVITATION
TO THE WITCHES' SABBATH
THE BEGINNING OF THE LIARS' ERA
If
before 1975 there were some inexactitudes in the presentation of the Russian
ufological events in the West, the year of 1975 entered
in the history as the beginning of the liars' era, the era of serial fabrication
of "one of the most fascinating stories ever produced anywhere
in the world."
The first big occidental liar was Henry Gris with his fascinating stories
in National Enquirer ("Secret
Evidence Shows UFOs Come From Other Worlds", National Enquirer,
July 15, 1975, p. 4; J.D.O'Hare, "Secrets The Russians Know About
UFO's", Male, Vol. 25, No. 12, December 1975, 30, 52-53.
I am sure this second article's author is the same Henry Gris.)
A
noticeable trace was left by Valery Sanarov.
In April 1979, Charles Bowen wrote:
"The U.S.S.R? the FSR team know, from personal experience that,
officially, at the science center at Novosibirsk, someone is beavering
away, sending cards to people around the world trying to glean information
on UFO reports and research ideas. We at FSR have received them -
and correspondence from other interested individuals, who have
sent reports to us. Robert Chapman of the Sunday Express tells
us he has received a card too, in his case a request
for a copy of his book, and a local newspaper in Kent has been asked for
details of a report (see Sunday Express
of 21 January 1978, page 7), and there have been a number of other
recipients. So, any chance to collect new material and ideas could
well be attractive to them. Whether or not it would be on an exchange basis
is another question" (FSR,
Vol. 24, No 6, 10-11) .
No,
it was not "officially". Just a very big circus organized by V.Sanarov
from Novosibirsk who presented himself as Director of Space
Medicine Academy. (See
Historia,
Paris, n° 395, 1979, 98. In French.) It
was a bumper-crop year for our "Director". He received many books
and wrote an article reducing all the problem to the popular beliefs
and folklore. (Sovetskaya ethnographia,
No 2, 1979, 145-154; Tekhnika-molodiojy, No 11, 1979, 46-52.)
It
was on an excellent exchange basis, wasn't it? In Russia I
was the only one to unmask "the director". You can be sure that V.Sanarov
does not like me, but I can endure it.
The biggest Russian liar is Vladimir Ajaja (Azhazha). Incomparable! It
is a real chance for Richard F.Haines to be co-director (with V.Ajaja
and V.Rubtsov, co-author of the well known Russian debunker Yu.Platov)
of the Joint USA-CIS Aerial Anomaly Federation. At the 1992 MUFON
Symposium in Albuquerque, V.Ajaja amused astonished Western colleagues
with his story that he had proof that 5,000 Russians had been abducted
by UFOs and never returned to Earth. 5,000 for 1989! The only one
to react openly to Ajaja's tittle-tattle was J.Oberg (OMNI,
Vol. 16, No.7, April 1994, pp. 68-75, 92)
. Why? Where are the others?
Well, after the 1992 MUFON Symposium in Albuquerque
V.Ajaja was appointed Representative for Western Russia (West of
the Ural Mountains) (Mufon
UFO Journal, Number 296, December 1992, 24 ).
What
do you think about it, dear colleagues? Are we incapable to put this biggest
ufological clown in his place? Or maybe we do not like "pelicanists", but
we do like story-tellers in the field of the Russian Ufology? Is it necessary
to ask for help to J.Oberg, fed by Ajaja, Stonehill and Co? Or can we handle
the problem ourselves? I am sure we can do it. As far as our Russian ufology
is concerned, I am doing it in Russian (on my website and by all
other means), and I did it in French (in my book OVNIS
en RUSSIE ).
Now I am doing the same in English because there is nobody in the
"Joint
USA-CIS" strange and anomalous Federation
to defend the Russian ufology from smart story-tellers. (The page
about "The Joint" will be joined to this website.) |

THE END OF THE CENSORSHIP
In May 1989, the censorship on UFO's publication was lifted.
The result of these increased civilian liberties and individual freedoms
was unexpected: journalists found their bait for attracting readers.
Now hoaxes are in the usual run of things, there are many liars presenting
themselves as ufologists or contactees, or ufologists and contactees at
the same time.
The first performance of the pseudoufological Russian play
was given in 1989 at the Frankfurt's International UFO Congress
"Dialogue with the Universe", with the Voronezh hoax. "One of the symposium's
main attractions was delegation of five Soviet scientists
and UFO investigators," wrote J.Antonio Huneeus, and he gave their
names (J.Antonio Huneeus:
"Soviet Researchers Stand Behind Voronezh Close Encounter", New
York City Tribune, November 16, 1989 ).
These
five did nothing good for our ufology. One name is completely unknown
in Russia, another one was smart enough to take care of his international
image, and he presented himself as contactee... Why not? Two
of these five are constantly looking for buyers to sell their "ufological
goods". "The Russians themselves keep knocking on my door," Antonio
Huneeus states. "They want to sell their stuff here" (Soviet
Saucers by J.Oberg, OMNI, Vol. 16, No. 7, April 1994)
.
I don't want to speak about the others. What
can I say if all of them stood behind the international publicity
of the Voronezh hoax and other hoaxes? I don't want to enumerate all Russian
liars and debunkers dialoguing with the Universe (and especially
with money) but it goes without saying that the debunkers all over the
world are pleased with things being as they are.
Alas, nowadays there are many hoaxes and rumors voyaging all over the world.
(Special thanks to Paul Stonehill and to his consultant Philip Mantle
for their first anti-ufological book The
Soviet UFO Files.) |

DEEP CRISIS
Today, Russian ufology
is in a deep crisis.
Those who read regularly UFO UpDates know the message with Turkish Announcement.
(I liked the reactionof Josh Goldstein, Jim Mortellaro and Larry Hatch
to this Announcement.) Well, we have the same theater in Russia, with the
pseudo-beliefs in "Universal Laws". Josh Goldstein is not the
only one to miss a photo from the Hubble telescope or an episode
of Star Trek. He is not the only one to be lost in his darkness.
I'm not channeling properly, too.
In 1997, the organizers of "The World Congress" in Chelyabinsk sent
their "Circular letter of Chelyabinsk Roerich Cultural-Ethical Center"
all over the world. Read just one passage from this "very important
document". If after reading you realize that "your darkness
is within you, then please feel free to enlighten yourself" (J.Mortellaro).
I left everything as it was in the original text written in
a very special cosmic English. |

Circular
"All
the ancient and modern prophecies, which are given in Agni Yoga,
being the synthesis of Budda's and Christ's doctrine, indicate, that
the turning-point in the history of the modern
humanity will take place at the end of 1997-at the beginning
1998. This turning-point of the human history in Agni
Yoga, the Third Latest Precept (or in the
Fiery Bible), refers to as Doomsday, as great panic in Gospel.
The Space Reasonable civilizations name this process as a transition
of our planet from the third measurement in the fourth one, on a higher
evolutionary step, in this connection, there is a serious necessity
to warn the world community about the approaching events
throughout the planet.
Five years ago, almost simultaneously, the scientists in America and
Irkutsk (a Russian city) have discovered an absolutely new powerful
kind of space radiation, outgoing from that area of Universe,
whence a new planet, Bernar-1, opened by the astronomers from
Chile in 1977, with its huge Sun comes nearer to a solar system.
But the scientists do not identify this unexplained radiation with
the New Heavenly Body, because unfortunately it is invisible in telescopes.
Nevertheless, when the Earth will sharply enter
in a zone of maximum action of the New Heavenly Body's
beams, the force of their influence will be increased in 1000 times, and
a super-accelerated overcoming of the human negative fortune
(carma) will begin: the people will become as crazy
and an awful panic with unpredictable consequences,
as it is reserved in the Gospel from Matphey
and Looka and in Apocalypse, will take place. Under
the influence of the New Heavenly. Body's fiery beams many
countries can be lost, because, as a result of arisen panic, the population
will destroy itself and civilization. That's why it's necessary to
explain the essence of the space processes and catastrophes
from the scientific point of view, and to remote
an element of incomprehensibility, supernaturalness and unexpectedness.
The Space Brotherhood of High civilizations
will take the principal part in rescue the
planet from self-destruction in the Third World War and Great Disturbance,
that's why the research UFO-specialists (UFO-logers),
astrologers and clairvoyants could help in the explanatory work.
There are two main ideas in the doctrine of Agni Yoga:
the participation of the Distant Worlds in the life
of humanity and Cosmic Dates of global transformations of the planet.
Thus, Agni Yoga is a basis, a platform for
association of the research UFO-specialists (UFO-logers),
astrologers and clairvoyants in the World Congress.
During these events Russia, being protected by the Heaven
and Strangers from the Distant Worlds, will
suffer less than other countries, that's why
the territory from the Urals up to Baikal will
be the modern Noyev Kovcheg (it
means in Russian Noah' Ark. - B.Sh.)
for all the countries. During the latest countries the representatives
of the Space Reasonable civilizations are
invisibly present for the people on our planet
and control the dangerous explosive situation on the Earth.
In the full swing of these events, at the end of
1997 - at the beginning of 1998, thousands of unidentified
flying objects will appear over the planet; they will
rescue the people by means of...
...The World Congress is to elaborate the plan of
evacuation of the population from various countries,
wich will suffer from catastrophes and natural calamities most of
all - Scandinavia, Denmark, the Netherlands, Holland,
Czechia, Japan, state California and others.
On the other hand, we suggest the governments of these countries
to be united for creation of the joint program of the construction
of new cities on the leased lands of Siberia, as at the end
of the XX-th century Russia, according to the ancient prophecy, will be
the Noyev Kovcheg (Noah' Ark. - B.Sh)
for the whole of humanity."... |
|
| . |
For sure, "the territory from the Urals up to Baikal will be
the modern" Noah' Ark. Do
you know why? Because the organizers of the
Congress live there. For the others - nothing to do...
I
hope it's enough to see that "if (typical) New-Agers had trap-doors
on their heads, they would take out their brains and play with them.
Any
time is fantasy time for them. Never mind
quibbles with fact, logic or reason. No real problems arise until they
start to believe their own drivel, and try to pass it off to others" (Larry
Hatch).
Of
course, Marina Popovich, well known in the United States as cosmonaut,
was at the center of this World Congress. Just as in Tucson in 1991:
"La cosmonauta sovietica Marina Popovich, membro
dell'Accademia delle Scienze dell'Urse"(UFO
Express, N 79, 11; Il
Giornale, 17/5/1991)
.
No,
M.Popovich is not cosmonaut. No, she is not member of our Academy of Science.
By the way, today in Russia there are lots of home-made academies (around
two
hundred in Moscow alone). Their certificates
are not expensive. (See for
example "Supplement to Trud",
19 Dec 2000. The same Supplement
in English (to Express )
can be found in USA and Canada.) Many
dishonest people like to present themselves as academicians. V.Ajaja, co-director
(with R.Haines) of the "Joint USA-CIS...", has a real collection
of diplomas and certificates of this very "scientific" and
anomalous kind.
The ufological conferences and congresses follow the pattern
given by the American novelist Mark Twain:
" As a rule the speech and behaviour of these
people were gracious and courtly; and I noticed that they were good
and serious listeners when any bogy was telling anything...
And plainly, too, they were a childlike and innocent lot; telling lies
of the stateliest pattern with a most gentle and winning naïveté,
and ready and willing to listen to anybody else's lie, and believe
it, too ".(Mark
Twain: A Yankee at the Court
of King Arthur. Chatto &
Windus, London, 1915, p. 13.) |
|
Yes, any time is fantasy time for our so called
ufologists. But fantasies may be different. For example,
Theory of conspiracy. Why not? If you know Russian,
you can find this Theory on the RUFORS' website (
http://ufo.psu.ru)
supported
by P.Stonehill. (From P.Stonehill's letter to UpDates
(29
Oct 2000):"This
is the site of RUFORS, Russian UFO researchers, to which I belong
- http://ufo.psu.ru)"
So, if you know Russian and if you are in search of something
about The conspiracy of these insolent Aliens,
you will hit the mark. (P.Stonehill is promoting
this site in his letters to UFO UpDates. It's a pity you cannot
read in Russian! You could laugh until you cry.)
Of course, there are two or three good
websites but they are lost in the ocean of deliberate
lie and winning naïveté.
In order to
put an end to all this deliberate lie and winning naïveté
we opened two websites:
1. Ufological
community http://ufos.narod.ru
(Ufology
in Russia and in the World, in Russian)
2. Boris Shurinov - Russian
Ufology: black pages
http://boris-shurinov.info
(Cleaning
of the Russian ufological space, with pages in English and French) |
Do not think, please, that I am a fool like other fools or smart
as Paul Stonehill to give you addresses of websites only in Russian.
I remember well the astonishment of John Velez when he tried the
address given by P.Stonehill in his message from Sun,
29 Oct 2000 to updates@sympatico.ca.
...I went out to the website
to check it out. Is there a version of the webepages available
in English? I'm a New York Puerto Rican (which means I can
handle English and Spanish) not Russian. If there is an English
version could you please post the URL....

Re: Russian Ufology Research Center - Velez |
| No, there
was no English version in October, and P.Stonehill knew it very well,
but now he must be on line constantly, sending letters about nothing.
(In november, P.Stonehill placed there his short articles, including Yellow
Emperor. Indeed,
it is yellow!) |
I mentioned
our websites only because they had provoked the outbreak of activity
of Paul Stonehill on UFO UpDates and accelerated the opening of these pages
in English. |
|
My site
in Russian - RUSSIAN UFOLOGY: BLACK PAGES
So,
in October 26, I opened my website (in Russian) with pages about home-made
academicians, Vladimir Ajaja, Paul Stonehill and our Ministry of Defence.
With
V.Ajaja everything is clear: diagnosis - liar. The Ministry is keeping
silence. As far as P.Stonehill is concerned, I was blind. I was blind
and naive but my eyes were opened when I saw the KGB UFO Files (TNT) and his
book
The Soviet UFO Files. It
was disgusting. Then I dug for more information about P.Stonehill's ufological
doings and I found that what was disgusting for the others was quite normal
for Paul Stonehill.
Nothing to do, the errors committed by me must be corrected by myself.
I did it in my Russian website.
To make a long story short, I found that P.Stonehill was a liar, and there
is nothing to do against my irrefutable proofs and exact references as
you will be able to see for yourself.
V.Ajaja swallowed everything but P.Stonehill tried to save the situation.
I think that readers of UFO Updates took notice of his sudden
activity: letters to UFO UpDates in November and December 2000, letters
without any real sense but everybody knows that P.Stonehill is present,
he is on line. He tried to show to everybody that his Russian Ufology Research
Center is working hard. Why? It is very important because
| Mr. Philip Mantle who consulted
'The Soviet UFO Files', and Paul Stonehill have co-authored
a new book about Russian ufology; it contains a wealth
of the heretofore unavailable information from the former USSR,
and modern Russia. (Sun, 29
Oct 2000) |
At
the same time we saw a letter of Philip Mantle with Turkish Announcement.
This Announcement was received from the group "New Agers" but Philip Mantle
repeated the Turkish message because he must be on line too.
By the way, all the story about and around Paul Stonehill and his
dirty ufology could remain in Russian on my website but Stonehill
lost his head and the sense of reality and wrote a letter in English addressed
to me. Funny "ufological" incident! I received this letter
not from P.Stonehill but from my friend living... in Switzerland.
(This letter with my comment has its own black page.)
So, I am obliged to speak about Paul Stonehill in English. I hope it will
be useful for everybody because at the same time I'll show to you other
"big friends of the Russian ufology" both in Russia
and in the world. |
